MES Mampad College has stood the test of time. Into the fifty-first year, the biggest higher education campus in the Malappuram District with a sprawling campus has been leading the March of the underprivileged section into education and Empowerment. The journey which began for MES Mampad College as a small institution in 1965 is now crowned with the conferring of autonomy for the College. With its poly foci on the different facets of student lives, MES Mampad has risen to be the cream among the Colleges of the Malabar region. Research is essentially an academic activity and we usually use the term in a technical sense. Research inculcates scientific and inductive thinking. So in students, it will definitely promote the development of logical thinking and creative organisation of data. Research can certainly facilitate the decision of policy makers as well. For that the result of the research i.e. the new knowledge developed, should be shared among the peer-groups or to the society. Here comes the importance of Scientific Journals. Lakhs of national and international scientific journals are being published from all the countries around the world, a few from India and a very few from Kerala. In order to support the inquisitiveness of the students and academicians each institute should publish quality scientific journals, which can lead to further steps in the research field. Research at MES Mampad College is geared to prepare fertile grounds of enquiry for students, research scholars and faculty members. Research Council, Research Advisory and Monitoring Council, Research Supervisors, Research Forums, UG and PG project coordinators, Research Journal editors - all these work in tandem to contribute to the global conversations in the air in terms of quality Research.
Research Journals offer an authentic space for the researchers, academicians and students around the world to share knowledge in the form of high quality research work in all the subjects. It is one place where one can sense the quality of research thoughts. Unpublished and novel work is usually considered for publication with intent to create superior research environment around the globe. Through this, research community gets the opportunity to correspond and synchronize their research activities leading to growth and application of research and technology. Novel thoughts and perspectives are shared, new intellectual offshoots promoted and conversation made possible through the Journals. The validity of the emerging ideas could be tested and verified, making further research inroads possible through these spaces.
